Recently, rumours that Tamilisai Soundararajan, the president of BJP's Tamil Nadu unit is going to be replaced has been going around like a wildfire. However, on Friday, senior BJP leader Muralidhara Rao dismissed the rumours and said that no such plans were ever made.

 

Rao clarified to the press that Soundararajan will not be replaced and that all the rumours were lies.

 

Recently, Soundararajan was in the news after an attempt to attack her was made at Singaperumal Koil on Sunday. The accused was reportedly immediately arrested.
