School teacher killed in AC explosion

A government school headmistress was killed in Shanthi Nagar near Krishnagiri after the AC in her house exploded. Angela Mary, who was working at a school in Mottur, and her husband Albert, an employee with the state electricity board, had the AC on at night. Albert went for a walking in the morning. Later, he returned only to find smoke emerging out of their bedroom, where the AC had exploded and Mary was found dead. Police have filed a case and a probe is on. Reports suggest that AC stabiliser could’ve exploded due to short circuit.
