Salem-Chennai flight services begin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will reportedly inaugurate Salem-Chennai flight services on Sunday. The Salem airport was closed in a year after being opened in 1993. However, under the Centre’s UDAN scheme, actions were taken to connect small cities in India. CM Palaniswami will inaugurate the services and the first flight to Chennai will operate on Sunday.
