‘Wanted’ posters of BJP politician S Ve Shekher were spotted in Mandaveli and Mylapore areas in Chennai. Police have not arrested the actor-turned-politician in about 25 days. Police filed a case against him after his obscene Facebook post about women journalists triggered outrage among the journalists in Tamil Nadu.
Announcing that the man in the poster is ‘wanted’, it asked anyone, who knows information on the whereabouts of S Ve Shekher, to reach out to the nearest police station. The images of the posters are going viral on social media.
The Madras High Court earlier rejected his petition seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the case. The court also slammed that the petitioner is not a child to be pardoned.
