Police arrested four persons in connection with a murder of a rowdy in Korattur, Chennai, last night, say reports. A gang of 15 men attacked Aravindan with deadly weapons and left him in a pool of blood. The deceased has a number of criminal cases pending against him.
Police have registered a case in connection with the matter and are questioning the four men who have been arrested.
In May, a history-sheeter named ‘Thakkali’ Bharath died at a government hospital in Chennai after he was hacked by a gang in Vyasarpadi. On June 5, a relative of a history-sheeter named was hacked to death in Thiru Vi Ka Nagar in Pulianthope in a suspected rivalry between two groups.
