Plane Carrying Rajinikanth and 47 Others Makes Emergency Landing

A plane carrying Superstar Rajinikanth and 47 others from Chennai to Mysuru made an emergency landing due to a technical glitch, reports TOI. The actor boarded the TruJet flight this morning at the Chennai International Airport in order to participate in an event in Karnataka.

Soon after take-off, the pilots experienced a technical glitch and promptly flew the aircraft back to the runway. Passengers embarked safely, upon which engineers were called in to examine the fault.

Fans couldn’t have been happier to know that their favourite actor was all safe and sound. News also came in this morning that a passenger plane in Iran made an emergency landing in the middle of the road, with about 150 passengers safety disembarking.

As far as movies are concerned, Rajinikanth is filming Siruthai Siva’s Thalaivar 168. Khushbu, Meena and Keerthy Suresh play pivotal roles in the film. His last release, Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is doing well at the ticket window.
