DMK principal secretary Durai Murugan on Thursday reportedly said that the protests for the rights over Cauvery river water will continue even if the police fire bullets. Speaking in Vellore after participating in a protest against Centre for not constituting the Cauvery Management Board, he said, “Whether they launch police to lathi-charge on us, or the police fire at us till the last the bullet is fired, our protests will not stop.”
