Protest against IPL match: Police lathicharge protesters

Police began lathicharge against protesters who had been agitating near the Chepauk stadium on Tuesday to stop the match over the non-formation of Cauvery Management Board. Thousands of people from various political parties have gathered in Walajah Road and keep chanting slogans against IPL match and central government. People from the film fraternity were also spotted participating in the intense protests.
