Power Shutdown in Chennai on August 4th: List of Affected Areas!

Parts of Chennai will experience a power shutdown between 9 am to 2 pm on Monday, August 4th. The shutdown is being done in order to facilitate maintenance work according to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd (Tangedco) in a press statement. The supply will commence before 2 pm if the work is completed before the expected time.

Here's a list of Affected Areas:

In the areas of Neelankarai:

Blue Beach road,

Maraikayar nagar 1 to 7 Street,

Kapaleeswarar Nagar 4 Main Road,

Sea View Avenue,

Murugammal Avenue,

Periya Neelankarai Kuppam

and Casuarina drive.

 

In the areas of Injambakkam:

Sparkling Sand Avenue,

L G Avenue,

Spring Garden 1, 2 street,

Allikulam,

ECR one part,

Kalaingar Karunanithi Salai,

Copper Beach Road

and Sea Shell Avenue.
