Pon Radhakrishnan reacts after seen together with S Ve Shekher

Union Minister of State for Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan has responded after he was seen together with BJP politician S Ve Shekher in a video. Agreeing that he went to participate in an event where Shekher was present, the senior BJP leader said that it is the job of the police to arrest him. The minister also stated that the party high command will take action against S Ve Shekher for his derogatory social media post against women journalists.

The actor-turned-politician’s Facebook post triggered outrage in the journalists community and a case was filed against him. While he applied for an anticipatory bail in the Madras High Court, the court had rejected his petition saying that the petitioner is not a child to be pardoned, and wondered why the police were hesitating to arrest him. However, he has not been arrested yet.
