Chennai Wakes Up To A Bad Day With Pollution Level HIgh, Says TN Weatherman
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAs the air quality in Delhi is improving at a slow pace, the people in Chennai woke up to a bad day today with pollution levels at high, as predicted by Pradeep John, who goes by the name Tamil Nadu weatherman.
He took to his social media handle stating that, "let's start the day with update on pollution levels in Chennai, the start is itself bad today. The source of pollution does not matter whether it has come from Delhi or Not, the debate was unnecessarily concentrated to the source rather than Air Quality."
"Not only Chennai, the entire east coast Visakhapatnam, Kolkata (where AQI has gone to 500 at one point) are suffering from bad air. The pollution level will reduce from Saturday Thanks to Cyclone Bulbul moving up north and dragging all the polluted air," his post further added.
The Tamil Nadu weatherman's post ended on a happy note stating that "lots of good news on the rain front in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. More on that in next post."
Yesterday, the weather condition predicted by the Chennai Met Office of the India Meteorological Department stated to be partly cloudy conditions with no hint of rain. Most likely, by November 9 rains will be a source of relief to the city as well as the state.
