After PM Modi accepted Cricketer Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has thrown ‘another challenge’ to the PM. Slamming the Prime Minister for silence on the killings in police firing in Thoothukudi, Singhvi said, “Is the Prime Minister also of the view that the CM of Tamil Nadu is fit, I emphasize the word ‘fit’, to be dismissed? This is another kind of fitness challenge which we throw to the Prime Minister.”

The senior advocate questioned why the PM is still silent on the violence in Tuticorin. “PM has free time to accept a challenge and throw counter challenges but has no time to speak about challenges of violence and rising fuel prices,” said Singhvi.

PM Modi on Thursday accepted Kohli’s fitness challenge on Twitter and promised to share his own fitness video soon. Following which, Congress President Rahul Gandhi retorted saying, “Glad to see you accept the @imVkohli fitness challenge. Here’s one from me: Reduce Fuel prices or the Congress will do a nationwide agitation and force you to do so. I look forward to your response.”
