Chennai police release Avadi double murder suspects' photos; Warns public to be wary
Home > Tamil Nadu newsThe Chennai city police recently released the photographs of two alleged suspects in the Avadi double murder case and warned the public to remain wary.
The two suspects allegedly murdered two retired government press employees Jagadeesan (68) and his wife Vishalini (61) in Avadi. The suspects are Podilappu Suresh Kumar and his wife Bhulakshmi from Andhra Pradesh.
The couple was found dead in their farmhouse in Avadi on November 28. Reportedly, 50 sovereigns of gold jewellery were also found missing. Reportedly, Suresh and Bhulakshmi used an iron rod to murder the couple. Suresh was caught on camera standing near the Avadi railway station on November 26.
Reportedly, Suresh and Bhulakshmi have more than 30 cases against them. Police released their photographs asking people to be cautious. If they are spotted, the city police must be contacted on 100 or the Assistant Commissioner of Police of the region can be called at 9444803562 or 9498106608.
