Naam Tamilar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman, while speaking to reporters in Tirunelveli, lashed out at actor Rajinikanth over his recent ‘anti-social element’ remark. “When Rajinikanth wants to become Tamil’s leader, it is a pride that people like me live as anti-social elements”, Seeman said.
“We’re protesting for the welfare of the society. How does it become an ‘anti-social’ act? The word itself is cruel”, Seeman blasted. Referring to Rajinikanth’s statement that he would never accept an attack on police in uniform, the pro-Tamil outfit leader said the actor himself has a case against him for attacking a police in uniform at an airport.
Rajinikanth had earlier said that ‘anti-social elements’ caused the violence in Thoothukudi which led to police firing that killed at least 13 persons and injured dozens. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday at the Chennai airport, the actor furiously said that Tamil Nadu will turn into a graveyard if people resort to protests for everything.
