People Experience 'BOOM' sound in TN City! - Report

Almost one week post the loud boom that was heard in Bengaluru, Tirupur residents, today complained of loud Mysterious Boom. In Bengaluru, it was confirmed to have been an IAF aircraft.

Residents from Kangeya, Palladam, Arulpuram, Koduvai, Pongalur, Avinashipalayam, and Anupparpalayam among the other areas heard the boom around 10:30 am. This had caused widespread panic as residents rushed out of their houses, fearing it to be a terrible earthquake.

Tirupur’s Collector K Vijayakarthikeyan and Superintendent of Police Disha Mittal who were both in their respective offices, had also heard the boom. However, no earthquake tremors were reported. The district administration has approached the Sulur Air Force Station to find the reason.

However, no theory has been established yet and the Air Force has not confirmed that the boom was heard from a flight.
