A Madras High Court bench on Tuesday opined that there is nothing wrong in a hotel being named after a caste and added that the owner's right to do so is guaranteed under the Constitution.
The statements were made while hearing an alleged case of untouchability being practised at the Sri Krishna Iyer Brahmanaal Cafe in Tiruchy and thereby quashing criminal proceedings against members of fringe outfit Periyar Dravida Kazhagam.
