Noted history-sheeter ‘Bomb’ Saravanan held

In what looks like a big catch, noted history-sheeter, ‘Bomb’ Saravanan, was reportedly arrested from his hideout in Tiruvallur’s Periyapalayam on Sunday night. The 41-year-old, who was reportedly considered as a ‘specialist’ in making country bombs was on the run for more than a year.

Apparently, there are eight cases against him for supplying bombs to gangsters other than 24 offenses including five murder charges against him. A special police team headed by Deputy Commissioner Shyamala Devi reportedly nabbed him based on orders from Commissioner A K Viswanathan.
