Professor Nirmala Devi was arrested on Tuesday for asking sexual favours from female students of her college. According to her lawyer Balasubramanian, Nirmala Devi complained about her life being at risk in the prison due to certain circumstances.
She has also claimed that the released audio clip was edited. Reportedly, the former IAS officer, Santhanam appointed by the Governor to investigate the case will begin working from Thursday.
