As many as 50 members of the Students Federation of India (SFI) attempted to lay siege to the CBSE’s office in Anna Nagar on Monday. They reportedly demanded that the exams be nullified.
However, city police put out barricades and stopped the protesters from marching towards the office. Some protesters suffered minor injuries after they were allegedly manhandled by police and were treated at a hospital.
