Members of various political parties protested in Chennai as PM Modi visited the city on Thursday morning to inaugurate the four-day Defence Expo India 2018. Protests have been continuing following the Centre’s failure to form the Cauvery Management Board. A giant balloon with the caption ‘Go Back Modi’ was floated by DMK, while political parties also showed their opposition to his visit by wearing black shirts and raising black flags. Meanwhile, social media users unleashed their anger with the hashtag #GoBackModi, which is top-trending on Twitter.
