Modi’s visit: Chennai erupts in protest with #GoBackModi trending

Members of various political parties protested in Chennai as PM Modi visited the city on Thursday morning to inaugurate the four-day Defence Expo India 2018. Protests have been continuing following the Centre’s failure to form the Cauvery Management Board. A giant balloon with the caption ‘Go Back Modi’ was floated by DMK, while political parties also showed their opposition to his visit by wearing black shirts and raising black flags.
