RK Nagar lawmaker TTV Dhinakaran is holding discussions with his supporters including some of the 18 MLAs who were disqualified by Speaker P Dhanapal ahead of the Madras High Court verdict in the MLAs disqualification case. Disqualified MLAs including Thanga Tamilselvan and P Vetrivel arrived at Dhinakaran’s house in Adyar, Chennai, to participate in the discussion.
The Madras High Court bench of Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice M Sundar will deliver its verdict on the Speaker’s decision to disqualify the 18 MLAs owing allegiance to TTV Dhinakaran.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami also held talks with senior AIADMK leaders including his deputy O Panneerselvam, fisheries minister D Jayakumar and law minister C V Shanmugam at his house in Greenways Road, Chennai.
The two sides would be discussing the future course of action depending on the verdict delivered by the court, suggest reports.
