MDMK cadre immolates self, Vaiko in tears

An MDMK functionary immolated himself in Madurai on Saturday as a protest against the neutrino project in Theni. Ravi from Sivakasi set himself on fire at the anti-neutrino meeting where MDMK general secretary Vaiko was present. Following the incident, the veteran politician delivered a tearful speech. Vaiko also asked the cadres to take Ravi to Apollo hospital.
