Marriage between 13-year-old and 33-year-old stopped

A marriage between a 13-year-old girl and a 33-year-old man near Vellore was stopped. The class 8 student was forced to marry her 33-year-old relative by her parents. The girl reportedly sent a secret message asking for help to the district collector. As per the collector's orders the village taluk, Kumar went to the place of incident and investigated.

On knowing that the girl was to get married on Thursday in another village, the taluk made her parents confess and stopped the marriage.
