Marina flash protest: Police release protesters who were held

Hundreds of people gathered at the Marina beach in Chennai on Saturday at around 5:00 pm and staged a flash protest urging the Centre to immediately act for the setting up of Cauvery Water Management Board.

The scene at the beach was like a reminder of the historic pro-jallikattu protest at the same place last year.

The youth who were arrested by police were released on the same day.
