Manikandan reveals why Sujith could not be rescued alive!

Madurai Manikandan has invented a device to rescue children who fall into borewell. He was also involved in the rescue but however, unfortunately, to no avail.

Maalai Malar reports that, speaking about the incident, he said, he rescued a child who fell into borewell in Shankarankovil. Hence Trichy collector called him to rescue Sujith.

He said that his machine is 8 inches width but the borewell in which Sujith fell is only 4.5 inches. So, he couldn't rescue him. But he still took his machine and reduced the width to 4.5 inches and then tried to rescue him along with NDRF and SDRF.

But as there was no gap around his head, the machine could not grab his head. He said that his death is unfortunate and saddening. He also said that he has decided to make better robotic devices to make sure such deaths don't happen anymore.
