A youth was arrested after he made a call to the police control room in Chennai saying that bombs have been placed at the residences of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and actor Rajinikanth. However, police found it to be a hoax call and traced it to P Bhuvaneswaran, a 21-year-old mentally disabled person from Cuddalore. The man reportedly earlier made such hoax calls warning bombs to Puducherry CM and former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa as well.
