Negligence of a staff has costed a branch of Indian Bank in Madurai Rs 10 lakh. While the employees were busy celebrating the farewell of a soon-to-be-ex employee, cashier Sakthi Ganesh forgot to lock the bank, which prompted a thief to gain easy entry and decamp with Rs 10 lakh cash. Upon a complaint from bank manager Srinivasan, police are investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footages.
