According to reports, the Madras High Court ordered the Central Board of Secondary Education that class 1 and 2 students should not receive any homework. The case was reportedly filed by one Purushotaman.
The order was passed by High Court judge, Kripakaran. The HC also ordered CBSE to follow the rules of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) before finalising the course for students.
