According to reports, the Madras High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the central and state government after a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed by CPI-M MP regarding 49 errors in the Tamil version of NEET 2018.
Reportedly, due to poor translation, 49 errors were spotted in the physics, chemistry and biology sections of NEET. Out of the total,180 questions (each worth four marks), 49 questions were translated incorrectly. The MP who filed the PIL demanded 196 marks to be awarded to the students who attended the incorrect 49 questions.
The bench of justices ordered the governments to file their answers and scheduled the next hearing to June 27.
