The Chennai Meteorological Central Director Balachandran has reportedly predicted rain in certain places near southern Tamil Nadu on Friday and Saturday due to a low-pressure area former over Kanyakumari and Maldives. Certain areas in northern Tamil Nadu can also expect rain, say reports.
