Karunanidhi health: Rahul Gandhi visits Kauvery Hospital

Rahul Gandhi met DMK working president MK Stalin at the hospital and enquired about the health of the former Chief Minister.
The Congress scion had already talked to Stalin over the phone after Karunanidhi was admitted to the hospital and enquired about his health. AICC general secretary Mukul Wasnik, TNCC president Su Thirunavukkarasar and senior Congress leader EVKS Elangovan were also with Rahul on his visit to the hospital.
After enquiring about his health, Rahul said that the Congress party has a long relationship with him. Karunanidhi is a tough person, he said, also adding that his health is stable and he has the spirit of Tamil Nadu.
National and state leaders including Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami paid a visit to the hospital and enquired about the veteran leader’s health to Stalin. Karunanidhi was rushed to Kauvery Hospital at around 1.15 am on Saturday after his health condition deteriorated.
