Kamal arrives in Trichy to address public meet

Kamal Hassan arrived in Trichy this evening to address a public meet on behalf of his political outfit Makkal Needhi Maiam. The actor turned politician invited a woman cadre, Sejina to raise the party flag. Earlier, Kamal met Usha's mother and husband and handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to each as a relief. Usha, a native of Trichy lost her life when a traffic cop kicked the vehicle she was travelling from behind.
