Kalaignar Karunanidhi's final journey begins

The funeral procession of Kalaignar Karunanidhi has just begun; he would be taken to Anna Samadhi via Walaja Road, with lakhs and lakhs of supporters chanting their beloved leader's name. 

The 94-year-old was a five-time former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and recently crossed a milestone when he became the first Indian politician to wield the reigns of a political party for 50 years.
