Actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth, who voiced his opinion against Karnataka on Cauvery issue, on Sunday said that the developments in Karnataka politics, where BJP’s B S Yeddyurappa resigned from the chief ministerial position without facing a trust vote, was a victory for democracy.
“What happened in Karnataka yesterday (Saturday) was a win for democracy. BJP asking for some more time and Governor giving 15 days time was a mockery of democracy,” the superstar said.
