DMK working president MK Stalin on Wednesday took to Twitter to say that he endorsed the efforts of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to bring various political parties together. The Tamil Nadu opposition leader’s remarks come in the backdrop of the Trinamool Congress chief’s attempt to establish a third front against BJP and Congress for the 2019 general elections. Stalin wrote, “DMK has always stood for the unity of regional parties and stronger federal co-operation. I endorse the efforts of @MamataOfficial to bring together various political parties to oppose the autocratic and antidemocratic rule of the BJP (sic).”
