Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi leader Velmurugan has reportedly warned that hundreds of snakes will slither into the Chepauk stadium during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Speaking to reporters in Mayiladuthurai near Nagapattinam, Velmurugan said that he received messages on WhatsApp that snakes will be slipped into the ground. "The cricketers and cops are going to play IPL by catching snakes," Velmurugan sarcastically said.
