Houses Within Limits of Chennai Corporation Will Be Visited by Staff Daily: Details Listed!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAs Tamil Nadu reports 50 positive cases taking the total to 621, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) on Monday announced that houses within limits of GCC will be visited by staffs for next 90 days. This will help the staff to survey people with COVID-19 easily.
The GCC took to their social media handle and said, "Dear #Chennai, This public health profile survey is carried out for your wellness. Kindly cooperate. Let’s fight this Corona situation together!"
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Tamil Nadu touched 621. Out of which 50 new cases today, while 48 were participants at the Tablighi Jamaat event held in Delhi last month.
Earlier in the day, a 57-year-old woman who was infected with the virus died in Chennai. She was the sixth victim of the virus.
