DMK leaders and cadres on Friday conducted a rally to the office of Director General of Police demanding the resignation of Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijayabaskar and DGP TK Rajendran after the Madras High Court ordered a CBI inquiry into the Gutkha scam. DMK leaders, including MLA J Anbazhagan, who filed the petition seeking CBI inquiry into the matter, were arrested by police. The minister and top police officers are allegedly involved in the scam.
