According to a report in TOI, Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit will be visiting Thoothukudi on Tuesday to inquire people who were affected during the historic protest.
This comes a day after Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam visited Tuticorin and called on those injured. The governor will be leaving Chennai on Monday night by train from the Egmore station.
