Furore over women prisoners not provided with napkins in Trichy jail

A furore has been created over women prisoners being not provided with sanitary napkins in Trichy central prison.
 

Further, a judge who was investigating the case was said to be angry over false documents that were submitted stating that women prisoners were being provided with sanitary napkins.
 

The judge has subsequently ordered jail superintendent/warden Rajalakshmi to file an appropriate response.
