"Flight service for the poor" - Union Minister

Speaking at the launch of Salem-Chennai flight as part of centre's UDAN scheme to connect smaller cities by air, Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan hailed and labelled the same as 'flight service for the poor'. According to Daily Thanthi, the minister also said that space for an airport in Kanyakumari is being speeded up.
