Farmers on Friday held a fast in Chepauk, Chennai, demanding the Central government to constitute the Cauvery Management Board. Farmers across the state have been protesting against the BJP-led union government over its failure to implement the Supreme Court’s order on the issue. On Thursday, farmers and members of various political parties showed their opposition to PM Modi’s visit to Chennai by wearing black shirts and showing black flags.
