Entry to Besant Nagar beach blocked: Reports

The entry for vehicles to service road near Marina Beach was blocked on Sunday following protests demanding the formation of Cauvery Management Board. Following this, reports have emerged that the entry for public to the Besant Nagar beach has also been blocked by the police.

Police security has been beefed up across both Marina and Besant Nagar beaches.
