While observing a fast condeming the centre for failing to constitute Cauvery Management Board within the deadline specified by the Supreme Court, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami on Tuesday said that people are well aware of the efforts taken by the state government to bring Cauvery water. He also accused DMK of playing cunning games. "What were they doing when with their support, Congress occupied the throne in the centre? They didn't do enough for Cauvery back then."
