'DMK is a Corporate Party,' Former DMK Politician Reveals his Opinion
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu news"DMK has turned into a corporate party. They no longer understand the needs of people and have started to believe in corporate sectors to run their party. How can I be a part of such a party? So I've decided to come out of the party," says Pazha Karuppaya, the former DMK politician.
Pazha Karruppaya was one of the notable literature speakers who strongly criticized DMK. Later he joined ADMK and became MLA after representing the Harbour Constituency. After some time, he moved out of ADMK saying he could not function in ADMK. Then he joined DMK while Karunanidhi was the president of the party.
Over the years, Karuppaya started to criticize Karunanidhi and moved out of the party. In his recent statements, he stated that DMK strongly relies on corporate companies which worries him a lot. He said that that he moved of DMK realizing that none of the MLAs in DMK know about intellectual politics and they have been siding for the benefits of corporate companies.
"I always believe in seperate Tamil politics and there is no need for me to lose my dignity and stay in a party," said Karuppaya as per Vikatan report.
