Dayalu Ammal, late M Karunanidhi's wife admitted to hospital

Several media reports are coming in stating that Dayalu Ammal, the wife of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi, was on Tuesday night admitted to Apollo Hospital owing to health-related issues. 

This comes on a day when her son MK Stalin was formally elected to be DMK's second president after her husband. Stalin was flooded with wishes from leaders across the country for his elevation in the party.
