Tamil Nadu on Saturday, July 18, reported 4,807 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 46,452

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –111 (56 govt. And 55 Private)

- Total number of samples tested till date – 18,79,499

- Total number of samples tested today – 48,195

- Total number of persons tested till date – 1,04,177

- Total number of persons tested today – 47,179

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,13,856

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 3,049

- Total number of deaths today / till date – 88 (24 Private and 64 Govt) / total 2,403
