COVID-19 Chennai: Area-Wise Breakup of Cases, recoveries, and Containment Zones as of May 7

While Chennai recorded its highest number of cases in 24 hours, yesterday, there have been several recoveries. 320 new cases from across the city have been recorded as of May 07, 8:00am.

Anna Nagar – 191
Tondiarpet – 168
Valasaravakkam – 176
Ambattur – 105
Adyar – 91
Thiruvottiyur – 40
Madhavaram – 30
Perungudi – 20
Sholinganallur – 15
Alandur – 14
Manali – 13
Totally 2328 cases have been reported in Chennai and 1952 people are currently hospitalised for treatment. 22 deceased persons are from Royapuram (8), Thiru-Vika-Nagar (4), Anna Nagar (5), Valasaravakkam (1), Kodambakkam (2), Adyar (1) and Tondiarpet (1).
327 people have recovered in the city.
