Cop found dead on Kanchipuram railway track, suicide suspected

According to a report in TNIE, a police constable was found dead on the railway track with his body in a highly mutilated condition in Kanchipuram district on Sunday. One Sathish Kumar was working as a driver for Deputy Superintendent of Police Mugilan.

Reportedly, Kumar’s wife Priya had conceived with their first child only recently and had left for her mother’s house for delivery. A friend of the cop told TNIE that the constable had mentioned about a few issues in the family, but had no idea if the problems were so severe.
