Breaking: TN Govt Announces Important Decision on Total Lockdown in Chennai and three Neighbouring Districts! - Report

BREAKING: The Tamil Nadu government has announced that Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram will be going into a complete lockdown from Tomorrow. However, ambulance services, hospitals, testing labs, medical stores and other medical services will continue to function.  Rented autos, taxis and private vehicles will not be allowed to function except for medical emergencies.

The President of the Traders association of Tamil Nadu has announced that all shops in the state will only function till 2:00 pm starting from 16th June till 30th June. These steps have been taken in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state.

The decision was taken by the Tamil Nadu government after holding a Cabinet meeting and taking the suggestions of the medical expert committee into consideration.
